The first cleaning always requires more time as we bring your home up to a maintenance level. Most of our clients at Fresh Effects prefer to schedule regular cleanings, such as weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly services. Bi-weekly and monthly cleanings are the most popular recurring options. Regular cleanings help us maintain your home’s beauty and keep the time and costs down for you.

If you opt for sporadic cleaning services, each visit will naturally take longer, as longer intervals between cleanings result in more buildup.

Each home has its unique cleaning needs, so the time required can vary from one residence to another. As Fresh Effects becomes familiar with your home, we can offer a consistent estimate of the duration for regular cleanings. It’s challenging to predict the time accurately without prior cleaning, as the state of our homes is influenced by our lifestyles and habits, which can differ significantly.

When you schedule your initial cleaning, Fresh Effects will provide you with a rough estimate of the time required for regular cleanings. After the initial cleaning, we will have a better understanding of the actual duration for subsequent cleanings.

We have great affection for all pets, but you, as the pet owner, are the best judge of your pet’s behavior. If your pet is comfortable with new people and the sounds of cleaning activities like vacuuming and mopping, it’s absolutely fine to have them at home. However, to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, we recommend keeping the pet in a crate or a separate room during the cleaning. If a pet is uneasy around new people or cleaning noises, we suggest containing them in a manner that prevents interaction with our cleaners.

Fresh Effects only hires cleaners who are comfortable with pets. Still, if a pet exhibits aggressive behavior toward our cleaners, they are trained to leave the premises immediately until we can discuss future cleaning options with you. Please note that we do not provide pet walking, feeding, or clean-up services.

Regardless of linen changes, we always ensure the beds are made. If you wish to have fresh linens placed on the bed and request a change, we will gladly handle that for you. In case you don’t have spare linens, we can also take care of laundering them; just remember to inform us. We can accommodate additional laundry as well, but please communicate this in advance so that we can allocate sufficient time for the task.

You are not required to be present during the cleaning, except if you prefer to be. When booking, we will inquire whether you will be at home or how we can access your home if you won’t be there. For the initial cleaning, many clients choose to be present to guide the cleaners, highlight specific areas needing special attention, and specify areas to avoid. Most of our regular clients, however, entrust our insured house cleaning professionals with a spare key or key code for home access.

Upon submitting your easy estimate request, we will contact you within 24 hours with an estimate and clarify any necessary details. After booking your cleaning, you will receive a confirmation email, along with our client guidelines, for your signature and return prior to the cleaning. Certainly! We have numerous clients who request a specific number of hours to fit within their budget. We charge on an hourly basis and will discuss a priority list for your visit to ensure we address the main areas within the allotted time. Our minimum service duration is 2 hours.

We accept payment in the form of cash, checks, Zelle, and offer invoicing for debit/credit card payments.

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. To minimize last-minute cancellations, we send reminder emails and text notifications before your scheduled cleaning. Fresh Effects requires a 48-hour notice for cancellations, which can be communicated via email or voicemail. All messages are time-stamped for accuracy. Upon cancellation, we will arrange a suitable time to reschedule your cleaning. If you are unable to provide the required 48-hour notice, a 25% charge will apply. Same-day cancellations will incur a 50% charge. All cancellations must be made through our office.

Fresh Effects exclusively employs cleaners with integrity. If any items are broken or damaged during the cleaning, our staff is trained to photograph and report it immediately without facing reprimand. We take a transparent approach to address any damage or breakage. Once reported to the office, we will promptly contact you to discuss a fair and efficient resolution. We make every effort to repair or replace the damaged item, and our residential cleaners are fully insured, enabling us to file an insurance claim when applicable. If you have irreplaceable items, we recommend securing them in a safe place. Please communicate any concerns during the booking process.

Tips are never expected, but are greatly appreciated, and are accepted. Most clients prefer to tip a little at the end of each cleaning, but some prefer to provide a large tip at the end of the year. Some clients request cleaning services for special events or move in and move out services. As the leading cleaning company in The Villages we are happy to work on a no-contract basis, which means that you can update or change your service schedule to accommodate your needs or budget as they change. For commercial clients we can provide services either during the workday or after hours – whichever best suits you.
